| Training & Certification > Examinations According to UCC training and certification regulations, the Department of Labor & Industry accepts examinations administered by the Department or other nationally recognized testing programs approved by the Department, including but not limited to:
Applicants may register for up to three certification examinations on any one given test date. Paper-and-pencil examinations offered by ICC are administered at specific locations throughout the state four times a year. Click here for a list of dates. To register for paper-and-pencil testing, applicants must complete an ICC Examination Application and submit it to ICC Examination Services. Computer-based tests are available by appointment, and provide an easy solution for those who prefer more flexibility. Both NCPCCI – Prometric and Pearson VUE offer computer-based exams at locations throughout the state. Click here for testing information through Pearson VUE. You must apply to the Department of Labor & Industry and submit the appropriate documentation and application fees in order to receive your state certification.
