This webinar will provide an overview of residential solar panels – for both thermal hot water and photovoltaic (PV) systems. Some issues that will be reviewed are: are there any zoning considerations?; design parameters; loading conditions – live, dead, wind, snow and uplift; connection issues and attachments to rafters and trusses; code compliance issues based on 2009 codes; and regulatory concerns.
