This is a one day class which explores and discusses the use, rationale and application of the International Council Green Construction Code. It reviews each chapter and explains how the chapters are applied individually. The course examines how the code is applied linking sustainability, safety and performance. The requirements for site development, proper resource utilization, and innovative approach to energy conservation, water resource utilization and indoor air quality are explained and the proper application to existing buildings and sites is reviewed.
The student should bring a copy of the 2015 International Green Construction Code with Standard 189.

A cancellation received less than 10 business days of the session you are registered for, is subject to a $20 processing fee for refunds. Those who cancel within 2 business days of the session date or do not attend, forfeit the full registration fee and if unpaid, will be invoiced. Credit toward future PCCA courses may be accepted upon approval from the PCCA administrator; substitutions may be accepted.
