Process makes perfect. Technical knowledge of building science and energy efficiency is important but having a process for design, construction, and inspections is at least as important for creating affordable, comfortable, energy-efficient buildings. In today’s hectic work environment and without a clear process, few people can ensure important energy code details have been incorporated into construction documents or installed in the field. This webinar will provide a strategy for compliance and enforcement of 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), including obtaining or including required details on construction documents, initiating required inspections, and verifying compliance of new systems commissioning requirements. The presenter will also highlight the most important changes between the 2009 and 2015 IECC.
