As most Americans spend over 90 percent of their time indoors, ventilation is an extremely important design and installation consideration to ensure occupant health. This is particularly true in today’s energy-efficient buildings featuring low natural air exchange rates. The International Mechanical Code specifies required mechanical ventilation rates for a variety of occupancies, while the energy code helps to ensure large amounts of energy are not wasted via ventilation. This webinar will discuss how to determine when energy recovery ventilators and demand controlled ventilators are required and how to verify their installation.
