This is a one day class which explores and discusses the use, rationale and application of the International Council Green Construction. It reviews each Chapter and explains how the chapters are applied individually. The course examines how the code is applied linking sustainability, safety and performance. The requirements for site development, proper resource utilization, and innovative approach to energy conservation, water resource utilization and indoor air quality are explained and the proper application to existing building and sites is reviewed.
Course Materials
The student should bring a copy of the 2015 International Green Construction Code with Standard 189.
